Here's the Verrimus, a fantasy Euro-saber type sword. This one sports a blade closer to the shape of a katana, whereas the prototype had a wider blade with yelman.

Katana style blades on European hilts are some of the most beautiful swords I've ever seen. It's a shame no historical culture ever produced them. :(

Swiss sabers are fairly interesting. Not really katana-styled blades but still a two-handed European saber.

*Whistles* Nice blade. Sorry I'm new to your work, but did make all these swords?

You know, I wonder what would've happened if Europe was heavily persistent in trading with Japan during the Sengoku Era.

Probably not a whole lot for Europe, since early plate mail was in use by the 15th century of the Sengoku period. Swords by then were mainly sidearms and made to thrust between plates and chainmail. Late Sengoku, well, I suppose there'd just be more arquebuses around in Japan, and Nobunaga would have had a tougher time.

True, I'm tempted of giving you a sword idea. But unfortunately I don't have the type of money right now.

Damn economy.
