is that me or it seem a little bit more like a Normand than a regular Viking sword ?

The fittings are more Viking, although the hollow ground nature pretty much makes it not a typical Viking or Norman (Type X or Type Xa) sword.

Fantastic work. I'd really like to see some detail shots, but it's really a nice set.
Only thing I'm not sure about right now: Is that type of blade accurate for that kind of period or just the customer's idea? I know hollow grinding on later period blades, but 9th/10th Century?
